Content Update: Conquest Mode, Capital Ships & Proximity Chat Fixed

A new Battlefront Plus update is live on official KYBER servers, introducing a reimagined Conquest mode alongside new content, balance changes, and fixes.

CONTENT UPDATE

This update transforms SUPREMACY into CONQUEST– the large-scale mode inspired by Battlefield and the original Battlefront titles. It brings back capital ships, faster matches, and a refreshed strategic flow.

GALACTIC ASSAULT and CONQUEST have been separated into two unique rotations, both of which are available to play on separate servers via the SERVER BROWSER.

Proximity Chat should now be available again. Further tweaks to proximity chat will follow in a future update.
Additionally, we've heard your requests for a push-to-talk option. We'll share more about that in our next Development Update.

WAVE FOUR DEPLOYMENT UPDATE

The highly anticipated final wave of the KYBER Beta Playtest is scheduled to commence in the coming weeks. Wave Four will consist of 12,000 new playtest applicants, who will have access to the full suite of features offered by KYBER.

Battlefront Plus - Beta 101 - Update Notes

CONQUEST RETURNS TO BATTLEFRONT

  • Supremacy reworked into Conquest, using a ticket-based system instead of percentages. Kills and captured posts deplete enemy tickets; more posts = faster drain.
  • Majority capture rate decides control speed (e.g. 9 Clones vs 3 Droids = rate of 6).
  • Capturing all posts triggers Overtime - the losing team has 60 seconds to reclaim a post or lose.
  • Auto-captured posts: Two per team at round start (Prequel/Sequel) for faster variety.
  • Capital ships return as limited “lives.” Losing on the ground sends your team to defend your ship once.
    • Win by either destroying the enemy ship after a ground win, or by winning two ground phases.

NEW MODES & CONTENT

  • Autoplayers are now supported on all Galactic Assault maps.
  • Added Conquest XL (cross-era heroes).
  • Added Galactic Assault (era-locked heroes).
  • Cross-era GA renamed Galactic Assault XL.
  • Added new HvsV maps, Reinforcement Clash, and Hero Extraction (experimental). - An error on our end is preventing these from displaying in the map rotation editor. We'll get an update out for this as soon as we can.

VEHICLES & MAPS

  • Restored TIE Striker, Hoth Speeder Bikes, and Andor Speeder Bikes to GA.
  • Added BARC and STAP speeders to Naboo & Kashyyyk GA; added Hoth and Andor bikes to Conquest Hoth & Yavin IV.
  • Adjusted AAT gravity, boosted MTT fire damage, and fixed various map and UI issues.
  • Removed Yoda’s AP from OT maps; restored Blue/Grey STAPs/AATs to era-locked Conquest.
  • Fixed elimination counts in HvsV and Clash, and reset Speeder Bike weapons to BF+ defaults.

VEHICLE BALANCE

  • AT-AT: Ear cannons now automatic; fire rate 0.5s → 0.3s. Chin Cannon duration 10s → 18s, radius widened 1.5–5 → 3.5–6.
  • Removed gravity effect from AAT rockets.

AI & SYSTEMS

  • Bots no longer path through closed doors or use wrong skins.
  • Fixed Ventress choke, CO-OP spawn, Dengar AP, B1/Clone AP, and Kamino/Geonosis skin bugs.
  • Hero menus reordered for clarity:
    • Frontend: LS/DS → Era → Saber/Range → Importance
    • Gameplay: Saber/Range → Era → Importance

TROOPERS & REINFORCEMENTS

  • INFANTRY:
    • Randomiser: Hopefully fixed an issue where unequipping the randomised weapon would still act as if it were equipped.
  • ASSAULT:
    • Tough Fighter: Fixed the star card description to match the damage reduction value.
  • OFFICER:
    • Command Binoculars: Prevented firing when not fully charged.
    • Air Strike Binoculars: Kills now once again reduce cooldown by 20%.
    • EC-17: Fixed the night vision attachment not working.
  • HF-94: Re-enabled. Vehicle hits no longer reset heat; reduced Second Chance damage.
  • DC-17M Sniper: No longer resets heat when swapping.
  • ISB Agent:
    • Shorter delay before Defensive Rush reduction.
    • Assault Training: Fixed an issue where the damage reduction would not be removed when you stopped sprinting.
  • Sith Trooper: Fixed Combat Rush cooldown overflow.
  • Shock Trooper: Fixed SE-14C description.
  • Gungan Warrior: Max health decreased from 440 to 400.
  • Rebel Rocket Jumper:
    • Burst Vanguard: Increased cooldown from 23 to 25 seconds.
    • Burst Vanguard: Decreased damage per pellet from 65-38 to 55-28.
    • Rocket Launcher: Increased cooldown from 25 to 30 seconds.
  • Resistance Rocket Jumper:
    • Sniper Mode: Increased cooldown from 12 to 22 seconds.
    • Ion Launcher Mode: Increased cooldown from 16 to 24 seconds.
  • ARC TROOPER:
    • Barrage: Now stops firing when ragdolled or stunned.
      GUAVIAN SECURITY:
    • Added missing death screen UI.
  • CLONE FLAMETROOPER: Added missing death screen UI.

HEROES

  • ASSAJJ VENTRESS: Force Grasp now cone-shaped, affects 2 targets, shorter float.
  • KYLO REN:
    • Fixed Frenzy launching on slopes.
    • Frenzy: Now grants immunity to being staggered.
    • Frenzy: Being Parried no longer cancels Frenzy.
    • Frenzy: Increased required range for regular attacks from 3 to 4.
      • Frenzy should more often pick the faster regular strike instead of the closer when near an enemy
  • ANAKIN SKYWALKER: Shorter delay between Passionate Strike hits.
  • EMPEROR PALPATINE: Fixed Dark Aura scaling with Growing Darkness card.
  • MAZ KANATA: Adjusted jetpack physics.
  • LUKE SKYWALKER:
    • Block: now works properly again. Deflection Mastery star card currently has no effect.
    • Fixed missing Bespin skin.
  • CAL KESTIS:
    • Max health regeneration increased from 50 to 75.
    • Force Statis: Increased damage reduction while casting from 25% to 80%.
    • Force Stasis: Increased width from 2.5 to 3.5.
    • Stim: Added a full health check to prevent activating the ability when it would do nothing.
  • DIN DJARIN:
    • IB94: Decreased max damage from 150 to 140.
    • IB94: Increased recoil.
    • Grapple Strike: Increased cooldown from 13 to 15 seconds.
    • Grapple Strike: Decreased damage from 160 to 130.
    • Grapple Strike: Increased base range from 10 to 12.
    • Extension cord: Decreased bonus range from 50% to 40%.
  • BOSSK:
    • Health regeneration delay increased from 4 to 5 seconds. (poor guy)
  • JANGO FETT:
    • Dual Westar-34: Increased recoil.
    • Jet Boost: Increased cooldown from 5 to 8 seconds.
    • Adaptive Armor: Reduced health gained scaling from 100-440 to 100-340.
    • Adaptive Armor: Enemy heroes now count as two enemies.
  • DAGAN GERA:
    • Force Bomb: Added 80% damage reduction while casting.
  • COMMANDER PYRE:
    • Gold Zone: Increased the delay between each pulse that grants bonus health from 2 to 4 seconds.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Swapped BG-38 Multi-Shot for Escape Artist.
  • Fixed Rebel Zabrak and Resistance Jump Trooper voice lines.
  • Fixed Ryloth Starfighter Assault light side team file.
  • APPEARANCES:
    • Fixed an issue with the Rebel Saboteur textures.
    • Fixed an issue with the Imperial Gunner mesh.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Death Star II is not supported in Conquest.
  • Weapon attachments may unequip between rounds.
  • Vehicle AI unavailable on Geonosis GA (including AT-TE).
